Thursday Night Lights Week Three Preview
10/09/12
Its week three of OXYwater Thursday Night Lights, which means there's another exciting game lined up. Last week's upset of New Albany over Olentangy showed that this really is a game where anything can happen, so you don't want to miss this game.
This week, Hilliard Davidson High School will take on Olentangy Liberty High School at Olentangy Liberty's stadium in Powell.
The Hilliard Davidson Wildcats are ranked 82nd in the state and have a 5-2 record. Last week, Hilliard Davidson crushed Upper Arlington with a score of 42-14. The Wildcats two losses were against Hilliard Darby (17-3) and Dublin Coffman (33-10).
Olentangy Liberty High School is ranked 110th, has a 6-1 record overall and is undefeated in the league. The Patriots one loss was to the aforementioned Olentangy High School, whose winning streak was ended by New Albany last week. Last week was a good one for Olentangy Liberty too, they devastated Westland with a final score of
63-7.
As always, this game could go either way. The two teams are relatively closely ranked, and although Olentangy Liberty is ranked lower, it has a better record and has had consistently dominant wins. You cant ignore the fact that they're also undefeated in the league, although they have not played Dublin Coffman (Hilliard's one loss within the league) yet.
Tune in to the CW at 10 PM to see live coverage in HD!

Thursday Night Lights Round 2
10/02/12
Are you ready for some football? Well, its not quite the NFL, but this weeks OXYwater Thursday Night Lights game might have you thinking otherwise.
Thursday, October 4, the New Albany Eagles will take on the Olentangy High School Braves (Lewis Center) at New Albany.
The undefeated Braves are ranked 49th in the state, and, so far, have devastated every team they have played, except Worthington Kilbourne in the first week.
New Albany will have a tough game, but a win is doable.
While the Eagles are ranked 109th in the state and have a 4-2 record, they are undefeated in the league. Their two losses were early in the season and very close calls: they lost 10-9 at Reynoldsburg and 23-20 against Westerville Central. After those very close losses, they have dominated over every opponent.
I fully believe that New Albany will put up a fight and could lead to Olentangy's first loss.
How will the game play out? Tune in to the CW on Thursday October 4 at 7 pm for live coverage of the game in high definition!
